The defender on loan from Barcelona, who is in action for Spurs in the Champions League, appeared with a rare, but absolutely massive goal for the Lilywhites.

Playing in what is effectively a shootout for a place in the knockout rounds of the competition, Spurs know that Group D is so well balanced that anything short of a draw against Marseille will see them out of the prestigious tournament.
