(Video) Four players could unlock Liverpool resurgence after superb team move spotted v Napoli

Liverpool may have accidentally unlocked the key to a return to consistency both domestically and internationally during the 2-0 win over Napoli.

Though it’s only a small sampling, a charming team move involving substitutes Calvin Ramsay, Harvey Elliott and Fabio Carvalho, and already star on the field Mo Salah, may have caught the attention of the coaching staff.

The quad came painfully close to doubling the lead we had established through the Egyptian king, moving the ball so quickly and decisively around the right flank that it was more reminiscent of Jurgen Klopp’s side from 2021/22.

It would be unfair to heap all the pressure on our young stars, although it was telling that some younger legs who haven’t been with the pack as long as our number 11 provided a genuine boost. Dead rubber or not.
