Video: Bruno Fernandes mistakes fans for robbers but handles it superbly – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes found himself in a strange incident with ecstatic fans while the player was apparently driving.

In a video posted on social media, Bruno is seen in his car in the company of another unidentified male passenger.

A fan filming the attacking midfielder identifies the United midfielder before jokingly asking him to show him his watch.

The ecstatic admirer says to Fernandes: “Bruno Fernandes, come on brother!”

He then tries to punch Fernandes, who ignores the gesture, before the follower expresses his love and admiration.

In a strange turn of events, the fan asks the 28-year-old to show him his expensive watch.

To this request, Fernandes replies: “It’s false, it’s false.”

The fan moves to calm the United star, assuring him that he and his friends will not force him out of his watch if he decides to show it to him.

Bruno retaliates by telling the unseen fan and his teammates, “You didn’t get a chance to take it. [the watch].”

The Portuguese international, it must be said, did well to handle the situation after mistaking fans for thieves.

Fernandes can certainly be forgiven for thinking that way, but you have to give him credit for the way he handled matters, even engaging them in dialogue.

This will definitely enhance his reputation in the eyes of the Old Trafford faithful who already adore him. Fernandes is suspended for United’s upcoming Premier League match against Aston Villa. However, he will be available for selection on Thursday against Real Sociedad.
