Road collapses under Manchester United Women’s team bus – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United Women have been enjoying a winter training session in Malta to kick off the new year.

The trip culminated in a match against Birkirkara FC, but on the way to the match the Reds ran into an unusual problem.

According to The Daily Star, the path under the team bus collapsed, stranding them as they headed to the game.

The rear wheel of the bus fell into a large pothole when the road gave way, causing the bus to get stuck.

No injuries were reported and they didn’t appear to ruffle their feathers as they went on to beat the hosts 10-0.

Alessia Russo and Vilde Boe Risa each scored two, while Lucia Garcia, Grace Clinton, Jade Moore, Nikita Parris, Rachel Williams and Martha Thomas also scored.

The game was attended by 1053, a record attendance for a local women’s game, surpassing the previous set of 764.

The team enjoyed their warm-weather camp, and in addition to working hard on the field and in practice, they’ve been working hard off it as well.

The team has met several local girls while there, taking time to talk to them and inspire the next generation.

Speaking of the pre-game camp, Skinner said: “It’s a privilege for us to be here as we’re enjoying this opportunity and obviously this weather makes it a perfect training camp for our players.”

United will now return to Manchester to prepare for their first competitive match of 2023 which will take place at Leigh Sports Village next week against Liverpool.

The Reds sit third in the league just two points behind Arsenal.
