Marcus Rashford has said he is now in the best form of his career after he shone for Manchester United in their 3-1 defeat by Everton in the FA Cup.

Marcus Rashford has been impressive for Manchester United in the 22/23 season, and the England international has already established himself as a key player under Erik ten Hag.

He delivered another impressive performance for Manchester United as they faced Everton in the FA Cup third round, scoring once and registering two assists as the Red Devils progressed to the next stage of the competition.

Against Everton, Manchester United opened the scoring in the 4th minute with a shot from Antony after a cross from Marcus Rashford. A howl from David de Gea saw Everton restore parity but Manchester United took the lead again in the 52nd minute of the game. Conor Coady, scorer of the Everton goal, inadvertently put the ball into his own goal as he tried to clear a cross from Marcus Rashford. Rashford then scored an injury time penalty to seal the win for Man Utd.

Speaking after the match, Marcus Rashford said he is in the best form of his career.

“In terms of performances, it’s probably the best I’ve ever had, so I feel good on the pitch,” he told ITV. “I am getting into positions and areas to score goals. If I keep creating chances, I feel like I’ll keep scoring.”

Their next match was against Bournemouth, with the Red Devils posting a 3-0 win. Marcus Rashford once again added his name to the record. The Old Trafford team then followed it up with victory over Everton.
