Manchester United looking to cut-price Max Aarons to solve right back position – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United are interested in Norwich City defender Max Aarons.

That’s according to Football Insider, who claim the fullback is available for around £15m.

United are on the hunt for a new right-back, with the team out of options at the position.

While Portuguese star Diogo Dalot has performed well under Erik ten Hag, the manager has publicly expressed his need for two good right-backs.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka remains on the books at Old Trafford but has played just four league minutes this season.

His lack of skill on the ball has led to suggestions that the Englishman does not suit Ten Hag’s style of possession.

And with United looking to improve in this area, Max Aarons could come up with an interesting solution, particularly if the price quoted is accurate.

The Red Devils spent £227m in the summer and eyeing the Championship fullback would likely be more in line with the club’s budget in the upcoming winter transfer window.

At 22, Aarons also has room for improvement, as well as plenty of Premier League experience.

The Norwich right-back has 70 Premier League appearances to his name despite his youth and could be ready to step up.

This season he has remained an important part of the Canarian team this season, making 17 starts in the Championship so far this season.

However, come January, Aarons will only have 18 months left on his contract with Norwich, which could contribute to a knockdown price. United Matchday Magazine – Stay on top of all things red! Take a seat for the West Ham game and join the debate on United’s hottest topics!
