PSG manager Christophe Galtier has commented on Juventus’ poor form in Europe this season and explains what he thinks has held them back.
Juve are having a bad season domestically and in Europe. They are already out of the UCL since the group stage of the competition.
It’s an embarrassing reality, but it’s the result of a poor start to the season for the Bianconeri.
They must get a result when they take on PSG tonight and hope that Maccabi Haifa do not overtake Benfica with a better scoreline to qualify for the Europa League.
Juve have been clearly underperforming in Europe and Galtier believes that is because some of their key players have been lost.
Galtier said, as reported by Football Italia
“I just think they lacked the necessary squad from start to finish for these types of matches. The absence of Paul Pogba Y Federico Chiesa is essential The chain of various situations weakened Juventus, both technically and mentally.
