La Liga giants FC Barcelona reportedly want to release Paris Saint-Germain striker Lionel Messi in the upcoming January transfer window.
Hailing from the La Masia academy, Lionel Messi spent most of his career with Catalan giants Barcelona.
The Argentine striker established himself as one of the best players in the history of football while wearing the famous Blaugrana shirt. He helped Barcelona reach the top of football by winning everything possible. Messi’s love for the Catalan giants was unparalleled and it was often thought that he would only retire at the Camp Nou.

In La Liga, however, they are off to a great start. Barcelona have managed to win ten of their first twelve games. With thirty-one points, they currently sit second in the La Liga table, just one point behind defending champions Real Madrid.
