Amanda Serrano Confident of Being Undisputed: No One Beats Me at 126

Amanda Serrano is in top form for her upcoming showdown with Sarah Mahfoud, as they will battle it out in an undisputed featherweight bout for World Boxing Organization (WBO), World Boxing Council (WBC), International Boxing Organization (IBO) titles. Boxing (IBO) and the International Boxing Federation (IBF).

The fight takes place this Saturday, September 24, in Manchester, England.

Their fight will co-feature the big heavyweight clash between Joe Joyce and Joseph Parker.

“I feel very happy because it is a division in which I feel comfortable. Also, I want to get one more title at 126 pounds. I want to be the undisputed champion (of this division). This is the first step. I’m ready. I go in with everything and without fear, as always,” Serrano told Sara Hernández.

“I am sure that I will win because this is my weight. No one can beat me at 126.”

Serrano, who is coming off a very close decision loss in April to lightweight champion Katie Taylor, will look to hand Mahfoud (11-0, 3 KOs) the first loss of her career.

In 2023, Serrano (42-2-1, 30 KOs) is eager to get Taylor back in the ring for a rematch.

“I feel happy because I think I won the first fight. I want to have the opportunity to fight her and win and show that I am one of the best. I have the talent for that,” Serrano said.

As previously reported by BoxingScene.com, Taylor is scheduled to clash with undefeated Karen Elizabeth Carabajal on October 29 at the OVO Arena Wembley.
