Bonucci gives his reaction to Juventus defeat against PSGJuvefc.com

Leonardo Bonucci admitted that Juventus are not happy to end their Champions League campaign with a defeat, but he finds positives in the team’s performance and the return of Federico Chiesa.

Juve have become one of the worst performing teams in Europe this season and it is most evident by their European performances.

They have exited the Champions League in the group stage and will continue their continental business in the competitive Europa League.

They needed a result against PSG to secure a place in Europe’s second-best club competition, but lost out to the Parisians.

Fortunately, Maccabi Haifa were also beaten by Benfica to give Juve the EUL spot in the group.

Bonucci later told Sky Sports Italia via Calciomercato:

“Coming out with a loss cannot make us happy. Of course there are positive ideas like acting and Chiesa’s comeback, but we’re not talking about happiness. All the players who are part of the squads are important, from 18 to 35 years old. We lacked a goal, now a very important game awaits us to try to shorten the one ahead of us in the league”.

Juve FC says

Bonucci is a veteran at this club and knows that the team has failed their fans in Europe this season.

But he is right to focus his attention on the upcoming league games because now we expect superior performance from all of them in the domestic games.
