World Cup commentators for world feed broadcasts revealed

World Cup commentators vary, with some having World Feed responsibility and others serving specific channels and stations. Still, commentators can make a big difference to the viewer’s experience on television. We all prefer certain personalities inside the cabin. Some football fans may even mute the TV when watching our favorite teams play due to certain commentators working the games.

As the 2022 World Cup is almost ready to start, the commentators working on the global broadcast have finally been announced. Although some broadcasters will use their own talent, some will choose to use global broadcasting.

Analysts working on the world feed will consist of a total of 12 people working in duos. The six groups are: Peter Drury and Alan Smith, John Roder and Casey Stoney, David Stowell and Lucy Ward, Daniel Mann and Andy Townsend, Simon Brotherton and Matt Holland, and Kevin Keatings and Efan Ekoku.

Here in the United States, FOX Sports currently has the English rights for the upcoming World Cup. The aforementioned list of commentators will not be working the games on FOX. Instead, the American broadcasting company will use its own on-air talent.

FOX does not use World Cup global feed commentators

FOX pairings for the upcoming World Cup include John Strong and Stu Holden, JP Dellacamera and Cobi Jones, Derek Rae and Aly Wagner, Warren Barton and Jacqui Oatley, and Ian Darke and Landon Donovan.

While FOX will use its own commentators here in the United States, broadcasters in Canada will use the global feed. This means that football fans in the neighboring country to the north can spend to listen to the aforementioned list of global feed analysts. Other countries in the world will also use the world feed.

The 2022 World Cup in Qatar is scheduled to start on Sunday, November 20, in Al Khor. Host Qatar will face Ecuador in a Group A match to kick off the tournament. The United States men’s team plays Wales in their opening match of the competition. This match is scheduled for Monday, November 21 at Al Rayyan.
