Darwin Nunez may not have been able to put the ball in the back of the net for Liverpool, despite being given clear opportunities to do so, although no one can fault his commitment to the cause during the 1-0 loss to Leeds United.
The Uruguayan was seen embarking on a harrowing run as the visitors launched a dizzying counter-attack that culminated in the striker diving in front of a possible Jack Harrison shot at the other end of the pitch.
There is no doubt that the 23-year-old has some work to do to improve his decision-making in the final third, given that he had at least two brilliant chances that should have been hidden.
But in a team where effort and drive are in question, the expenarolense is showing that he is more than committed to the cause.
