La Liga giants Real Madrid are exploring the possibility of signing Argentinian striker Julián Álvarez from Manchester City during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Julián Álvarez began his football career at the Atlético Calchin academy. The striker spent two years at the club and then joined the River Plate youth team.
Álvarez graduated from River Plate’s academy and was promoted to the main team with Marcelo Gallardo in 2018. Álvarez gradually became one of the main players of the Argentine club. The young striker won six major titles with River Plate, including the Argentine First Division and the Copa Libertadores.
Alavarez’s consistency earned him a place on the Argentine national team. The striker made his debut against Chile in a qualifying match for the 2021 World Cup. Julián Álvarez was part of the Argentine team that lifted the Copa América in Brazil. Finally, the striker joined Manchester City at the beginning of the season.
